Product Description Ficus religiosa, the Sacred Fig Tree, is associated with Buddism as it's the tree under which Budda became enlightened. The original tree is said to still be living and any leaf that falls is quickly picked up as a good luck souvenir. Cuttings from the original tree were rooted and sent throughout the world for planting on the grounds of Buddist churches and such a tree exists two miles away from Fuku-Bonsai at the Puna Hongawanji in Keaau. The Sacred Fig Tree is hardy in zones 10-11. In cooler regions it can be grown as a house plant, patio plant, or a bonsai!

| Customer Reviews: Good Price For A Hard Plant To Sprout From Seed. June 17, 2010 J. Rabbitt (Ben Lomond, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I, happily, was able to sprout 5 plants from a 10 pack of seeds. I killed one sprouting. The cat ate one. That leaves me with 3 left, and I've promised those as "gifts," so I'll be buying more.
Other than the natural difficulty of growing the Bo Tree from seed, the service was great.
No germination at all June 24, 2010 Ed (Harrisburg, PA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
None of the 10 seeds germinated. I raise garden plants from seed regularly and with very good results but these seeds were a complete failure.
taken for a ride June 13, 2010 sweet-pea 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
I am shocked that I ended up paying almost $10.00 for seeds? lol - they got me- and no they did not grow -
The seeds were planted as instructed -( I am a big one on starting from seed to outdoor - also love taking and rooting from other plants.
I should have paid more attention!
