This kit is well worth the money! I've harvested tons of really great tasting mushrooms, and they just look so cool... I've recommended it to many friends who've asked about it. Easy to use, fun, and so inexpensive for what you get. Just as good as more expensive kits I've used before. Thanks!

The company emailed me and let me know that this was back-ordered. That was nice. The kits even arrived before some of my other Amazon purchases, which were not back-ordered. My best friend loved it, I gave her one as a birthday-housewarming present. She is really tough to shop for because she seems to have everything, and buys everything, so I really lucked out finding the perfect gift! She just purchased a condo, and does not get to go out very much these days, so I thought 'fun family project!' However her teenage daughter thought it was "gross" and didn't want it in the kitchen, so I guess this is a project just for her! -M. R. ;)

I have a grown daughter that does eat meat anymore...so I get here stuff she can grow and eat....She says this was a great present....that rocks a Daddys world...

I ordered this kit for my husband for Christmas and was dismayed to find that when it arrived, it was in a box with writing and pictures all over it describing the contents...and he got to it first! I would buy this for a gift again, but if it was for a member of my household, I would have it sent to a friend's house to keep it a secret.

I would not reccommend this product. I gave it as a gift for a mushroom lover, and after following the directions, and even trying several different growing locations, only one mushroom grew. Total ripoff!
